1. Agreement

By creating a HomeInspect account you agree to these terms. HomeInspect is operated by Sideon, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.

2. The Service

HomeInspect uses AI to analyze property photos you upload and generate draft inspection findings and PDF reports. You retain ownership of the photos you upload and the reports generated from them.

3. AI-Generated Content — Important

AI findings are drafts, not professional opinions. HomeInspect's analysis may miss issues or identify issues incorrectly. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, editing, and approving every finding before delivering a report to any third party. HomeInspect is a productivity tool — it does not replace your professional judgment, licensure obligations, or applicable standards of practice.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Plans bill monthly via Stripe and renew automatically. You can cancel any time — directly in the app under Settings → Manage Subscription, which opens the secure Stripe billing portal where you can cancel your plan or update your payment method. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and access continues until then. If you'd rather not use the portal, you can also cancel by emailing admin@sideon.io.

30-day money-back guarantee. Every paid plan is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you request a refund within the first 30 days after your initial purchase, we will refund all payments made during those first 30 days. The guarantee is limited to one per customer — re-subscriptions after a refund are not covered. To request a refund, email admin@sideon.io; refunds are processed within 5 business days. This guarantee supersedes any other refund limitation in these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

Don't upload content you lack rights to, attempt to access other customers' data, reverse-engineer the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sideon's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including losses arising from reliance on AI-generated findings.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these terms with notice. Upon termination, your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes & Contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions? admin@sideon.io.
